New Smiles Available at Eastern Shore

Cavities happen, but you don’t have to advertise it. At Eastern Shore Dental Care, we use composite fillings that closely match the color of your own teeth. The white composite material can be used to fill a cavity or slightly change the shape of a tooth. The composite bonds to your natural tooth, helping to protect against breakage and temperature sensitivity. You can resume normal activities and your standard dental hygiene practices immediately. Composite resin is a durable and attractive alternative to silver fillings, allowing your smile to gleam for all the right reasons.

Porcelain Inlays and Onlays

If your tooth decay requires a little more attention than a filling or if you have decay between teeth, a porcelain inlay or onlay may be the perfect solution. Inlays and onlays allow us to remove the problem part of the tooth while keeping the healthy part intact. They’re an attractive, functional, and durable alternative to a full crown and they allow you to eat and care for your teeth as you always have. The molding and bonding of the inlay or onlay will take two visits, but when you walk out of our office, all anyone will see is your smile.

Metal-Free Crowns and Bridges

At Eastern Shore Dental Care, we try not to meddle in your business, but when it comes to improving your dental health with crowns or bridges, we choose to go metal free. A crown completely covers a damaged existing tooth while a bridge replaces one or more missing teeth. We will match the color to your existing teeth to improve both your dental health and your appearance. With proper brushing and flossing, and regular dental check-ups, these solutions, not to mention your smile, can last a lifetime.

Partials and Dentures

When you’re missing teeth, you may feel like you’ll never smile again, but that doesn’t have to be the case. Eastern Shore Dental Care offers partials and dentures to our clients who need more extensive restorative procedures. We use partials if you have one or more natural teeth remaining. The partials will dramatically improve your appearance and hold your existing teeth in place, preventing further damage. We use dentures if we need to replace all of your upper or lower teeth. Though the procedure will take several appointments over the course of a few weeks, after a brief recovery period, you’ll be eating and talking normally. We’ll tell you how to care for your new teeth so you can keep your smile looking bright and natural and get back to living life to its fullest. After all, we want you to show off your smile as much as possible. That’s what it’s there for.

Dental implants replace damaged tooth roots and preserve your appearance as they’re designed to match your own existing teeth. Implants are more comfortable than dentures, and since there’s no risk of slipping or sliding, implants allow you to eat most of your favorite foods without an embarrassing mishap. If you want a complete smile with the ease of care and comfort of natural teeth, implants may be the perfect choice for you.

Root Canals

A toothache is never a good sign. At Eastern Shore Dental Care, we understand that the mere sound of the words root canal make people nervous. That’s why we handle your root canal in-house, with the same highly qualified professional staff you’ve come to know during your more routine dental procedures. We’ll be by your side from the initial diagnosis through each step of the root canal, and all the way to your follow-up appointment. If you’re having pain or other problems from a prior root canal, we provide retreats–or redos–to help you get back to feeling like yourself again.

Oral Surgery

At Eastern Shore Dental Care, we get to know our patients and your care is our primary concern. So if you’re facing oral surgery in the form of a minor extraction to remove a severely decayed or infected tooth, we don’t want to refer you to a dentist and a staff you’ve never met. We have the equipment and, more importantly, the expertise to handle your extraction in house. By keeping your care in our hands, we can minimize your nerves, maximize your comfort, and restore your dental health.
