Our Story

Founding and Growth

Dr. Scott H. Billings, a proud graduate of the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, established his dental practice in 1981. Five years later, Dr. Christopher K. Murphy, also a University of Maryland School of Dentistry alumnus, joined him as a partner. Over the next 42 years, their practice grew to become the largest dental care provider on the Eastern Shore.

Expansion

In 2017, we expanded and renovated our Kent Island office, renaming as Eastern Shore Dental Care. Our 7,000 sq. ft. dental spa now houses 7 dentists, 50 staff members, and 20 treatment rooms, serving over 20,000 patients.

A New Era

In 2023, after over four decades of dedicated service, Dr. Billings and Dr. Murphy entrusted the management and ownership of Eastern Shore Dental Care to three of our esteemed associate doctors: Jennifer Brotz, Eric Fooksman, and Alyssa Wolfe. They are committed to continuing our tradition of excellence.
