Eastern Shore Dental Care is located on the Eastern Shore of the Chesapeake Bay on Kent Island only 15 minutes from Annapolis and 45 minutes from Baltimore and Washington. Our town, Chester, Maryland, is known for its waterways, beautiful scenery and hometown community feel.
The owners, Dr. Scott Billings and Dr. Chris Murphy have strived to make the practice an enjoyable place to work. Together, with our team, we have worked hard to build a great office culture. Eastern Shore Dental Care has had many employees work here for over 20 years! We discuss office culture at our monthly team meetings where we promote group unity and spirit. Annually, we have events for our team to get out, relax and promote the positivity of our employees. We want our doctors to feel good about working at Eastern Shore Dental Care.
As a team doctor, when you work in our practice, we want you to earn a great living and be able to perform excellent dentistry. To that end, you will have 2 assistants that have had advanced training in expanded functions, and you’ll work in treatment rooms with new equipment with the newest technology. Our team of doctors perform their own New Patient Exams and complete all the treatment that they have presented. We do not skim the high-end procedures from you, and you will not perform prophy’s. Our office averages 200 New Patients each month to make sure that you are busy. Our owners and Team Doctors discuss cases together and mentor each other which builds group unity and patient care continuity. Our new doctors earn an average $175,00 in their first year and over $190,000 after that while working only 32 hours per week. Our scheduling and office culture make Eastern Shore Dental Care a great place to work.
We also want to help you reach your goals. Some doctors want a place to work that feels like they have their own practice within a practice and that is what we have built. Other doctors want to become owners of their own practices and we understand and respect that. We want to help our doctors with their goals and by working with us they can pay down student debt and learn the business side of a dental practice which will help them when they find a place to call their own. Currently, we are offering a $25,000 Signing Bonus for doctors that have 2 or more years of full-time private practice experience and a $10,000 Signing Bonus for doctors with no or less than 2 years’ experience.
